COD Ghosts Snoop Dogg DLC on Xbox first

Earlier on this week we told you about Call of Duty character Soap coming to COD Ghosts in a new Legends DLC pack. Now we can confirm that this is happening, but that’s not the biggest reveal. Infinity Ward has surprised everyone by announcing a COD Ghosts Snoop Dogg DLC voice pack as well.

The hip hop legend will be coming to the game and you will have to pay $3 for the luxury of using him. The difference is quite astounding if you do though, with Snoop calling out all sorts of voice commands that will spice up your game compared to what you are usually used to.

The COD Ghosts Snoop Dogg price is very reasonable we feel, so Activision should do fairly well in terms of sales. Some of you may be thinking this is too much on the ‘gimmick’ side of things, but actually Snoop’s voice works very well judging by the video.

Watch the preview below and you’ll see that the voice mixed in with the gameplay is by no means over the top. If you are definitely planning to buy this, you’ll be able to do so with the COD Ghosts Snoop Dogg release date locked in at April 22 – that applies for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamers.

There has been no mention of PS4, PS3 or PC, so we are assuming that this is another Xbox timed-exclusive. Does this frustrate you?
