COD Ghosts pro Daniel Sturridge is looking for clan

While it’s no secret that a lot of footballers like to play FIFA 14 in their spare time away from matches, we don’t often see too many come forward with their public fondness towards Call of Duty. Step forward Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge, who has wasted no time in sending out challenges to the masses on Call of Duty Ghosts, whilst also opening up his availability for clans in the near future.

Being a footballer is obviously a busy job but when match day isn’t on, Daniel Sturridge is more than likely to be on Call of Duty Ghosts taking care of business. He’s actually a very accomplished player too, recently coming out on top in a celebrity COD Ghosts tournament during the UK launch of the game.

In a very amusing interview that we have for you below, we hear the Liverpool FC striker talk about how much he likes the game, and also how annoying he finds it too when listening to other players microphones – especially referencing screaming babies.

He adds that he will ‘shoot anyone down’ if they come into his path online and adds that he has plans to set up a clan, possibly with other members of his footballing community once the time is right. We see the down-to-earth, laid-back side of the man which we have to say is very entertaining – especially when you consider his other lifestyle.

Here’s one quote that we have picked out from his interview when asked about his SAS nickname in relation to Call of Duty (also in relation to his on-field partnership with Luis Suarez):

“I’m not gonna say I’ve got a gun on me, walking down the street, because I haven’t. I’m not actually an S&S guy. But what I will say, is that if I’m on the console at home, I have got an AK47 and I’m gunning someone down – and they’re gonna get it, big time!”

Funny words indeed from the man, what do you make of his COD Ghosts challenge? It would be fantastic to see him online in a game when you least expect it.

Let us know if you are aware of any other celebrity COD Ghosts players.
