COD Ghosts Onslaught DLC with Nightfall horror

Are you ready for the COD Ghosts Onslaught DLC release date? We are just a few days away from the big launch and Infinity Ward has given fans something new to forward to this week.

The Map Pack 1 Onslaught comes with a brand new Extinction map, which we already know is going to be called Nightfall. We hadn’t heard too many story details on the new map during the Onslaught teaser trailer, but now Infinity Ward has changed that by releasing a spooky story introduction to the map.

Nightfall is going to be the first of four new chapters to Extinction and the punchline that Infinity Ward are going for is ‘The search for a beginning, will lead to an end’.

There’s some brand new gameplay to enjoy as well, and also teases of new chemical weapons to take down the aliens. If you loved the first map that shipped on disc, it looks like Nightfall is going to keep you addicted for many more hours.

Is it better than zombies in your opinion or not though, that’s what many fans have begun to ask themselves. Nightfall will release on January 28, for season pass members on Xbox One and Xbox 360. PS3, PS4 and PC users will have to wait a month longer.

Enjoy the story intro below and let us know your thoughts on it. Are you pumped up for Onslaught or not?
