COD Ghosts Onslaught DLC release date close

Towards the end of 2013, we were the first ones to tell you about a potential release date for the highly anticipated COD Ghosts Onslaught DLC release date. It’s the first map pack for Infinity Ward’s title and now more evidence has come in to further cement claims that it will be due at the end of January.

It was back in December when we told you about a potential January 28 release date for Onslaught. At the time, it was rather secretive intel, but fast forward to this week and it looks like our assumptions could be correct.

Thanks to a GameStop poster that has been leaked early, we now have more evidence of the January 28 date being correct. Not only that, but it looks like we could have the four Onslaught multiplayer map names as well.

Assuming that it is legit, the COD Ghosts DLC map pack 1 is going to include Fog, Bayview, Containment, and Ignition. On top of that, players will also be able to play a new Extinction map called NightFall.

Take a look at the image to see previews of each map. We don’t think this is a Photoshop, so we could be looking at accurate information here – especially since it joins up to our earlier story last year.

Do you have a season pass on Xbox ready to play this content the minute it goes live? Remember that the content won’t be available on PS3, PS4 and PC until a month later.
