COD: Ghosts Hardened Edition PS4 in GAME price lottery

Those looking to pick up up Call of Duty Ghosts on the PS4 may have run into something of a bargain over this past weekend. It’s already been confirmed that Ghosts will release as a launch title along side the PS4 release date of November 15, but eagle-eyed consumers in the UK may have picked up the Call of Duty Ghosts Hardened Edition for a much cheaper price than expected.

If you pick up games regularly from popular UK retailer GAME, you may have been very surprised to spot an initial price of just £49.99 for the Hardened Edition of Call of Duty Ghosts for the PS4.

The usual price for this package is set at £94.99 as seen with the corresponding Xbox One listing, but over the weekend it was under £50 in what was obviously an error on GAME’s part. The exciting thing to mention though, is that GAME usually honors all orders placed in relation to the listing price, so there could be a handful of lucky consumers who will be getting a premium version of Ghosts for a very cheap price.

The listing now has already been altered sadly, so you’ll have to pay the full price if you still want to pick up the Hardened Edition this week in time for launch. Don’t forget that the DLC season pass for Ghosts is going to set you back at least £35 alone, so it really was a case of hitting the jackpot if GAME intends to fulfill their shipment £49.99.

All this for £49.99? Yes please...

Did you manage to spot GAME’s pricing error over the weekend? Let us know if you have heard from the retailer regarding the cheaper price and whether they will still honor the original listing.
