COD: Ghosts app vs. Battlefield 4 companion

Most gamers know that the Call of Duty: Ghosts vs. Battlefield 4 battle for best FPS has been going since well before the release date of either title, but the mobile platform is also very important with new game launches these days as well. There is a COD: Ghosts app and also a Battlefield 4 companion app, so we wondered what title had the better tablet and phone offering.

COD: Ghosts vs. Battlefield 4 companion apps — You will find a fully fledged Commander Mode app for BF4, we have already touched on the FAQ page when connection problems arise, but those of Product Reviews readers that know very little about this app can see the official page right here. In a nutshell, this app will let you get a strategic overview of the combat area, call in gunships to certain locations, and launch missile strikes to cause a good blow to the enemy.

The Battlefield 4 game also has the Battlelog app that keeps the game at your fingertips, so you can connect on mobile and tablet. The Battlelog BF4 app allows players to set challenges for friends, access the leaderboards to see who is the best by location, and a lot more. It is worth noting that the Battlefield 4 Commander Mode app for iPad will launch on November 19.

When it comes to the Call of Duty: Ghosts app you will already find it live to download on both Android and iOS. The full COD: Ghosts on the go experience with Clan Wars can be found on Google play right here, and for iPhone and iPad on iTunes. Both apps are free, but the ratings leave a lot to desired with average rating and many complaints. We touched on some of the problems in a recent article.

Both platforms allow gamers to compete in Clan Wars, enhance multiplayer with a second screen, and a number of other abilities especially targeted at creating clans.

It is hard to get a full understanding of both platforms with the Battlefield 4 Commander Mode app yet to release, but from the official pages found through the links on this page you will understand most of the features on offer for both BF4 and COD: Ghosts.

What game has the better companion app, COD: Ghosts or Battlefield 4 in your opinion? What new features or improvements would you like to see added to the apps? We would love to hear from our readers that have used the companion apps and if you think there’s a clear winner between the titles for Android and iOS companion software.
