COD: Ghosts all platform patches including Free Fall map

The new Free Fall map for Call of Duty: Ghosts has been made available on all platforms along with patch notes that highlight improvements and enhancements to the game. In addition, the Free Fall multiplayer map was initially only available for those reserving copies or signing up for a season pass bonus, but now we are pleased to hear this is now available to everyone.

The new map has been added to various playlists and CVG document all the relevant patch notes as well as showing a new DLC trailer that has recently surfaced. With anti-cheat measures and improved stability the Free Fall map has also encountered a number of fixes and the aforementioned site list all the new features as well as additional fixes.

In other relevant news, we a couple of weeks ago we mentioned the COD: Ghosts double XP weekend and free PC multiplayer, and discussed how this is the ideal opportunity for newcomers to join in and see what all the fuss is about. Ghosts was free to play via Steam a few weekends back and this also awarded the offer of Double XP.

Now Ghosts has received an update on all formats we are pleased to see the pre-order map Free Fall made accessible to all, and the aforementioned site provides full details of the gameplay fixes and changes, including those specific to certain platforms like the PC and Xbox One.
