Call of Duty: Black Ops is to be released on November 9th, and is one of the reasons behind poor Medal of Honor sales. With no full reviews of the games yet, all we have to go on is a couple of levels that has been shown to us either at gaming events or on YouTube.
This makes us wonder what the likes of IGN or CVG look for in a game when they begin their review. Also is there a main focus, maybe playability, graphics, performance or something else? There are so many aspects of a game that need to be covered that it can often become difficult to keep a focus.
With COD Black Ops the review is going to be even tougher, this is due to the fact that it is available in both 2D and 3D. We have already learned that the details when taking shots with the 3D version is mind blowing, as it looks as though the barrel is just popping out of the screen.
Black Ops could be one of those games that is not perfect in any of its main areas, but add them together and you get an awesome all-round game. Maybe you love all the action and do not care that much about the detail — then again you might find that the details is one of the most important factors of a game. Either way, we all have a different focus of each game, so what is yours with COD: Black Ops?
