COD: Black Ops – Sneak Peek Trailer for ‘Escalation’ Map Pack

Back at the beginning of April an image appeared on the Australian GAME website, which appeared to reveal a brand new map pack for the hugely popular Call of Duty: Black Ops game. The map pack — titled ‘Escalation’ was then officially announced and dated by Activision about a week later.

Now we have even more good news for all you COD: Black Ops fans out there, as according to a recent article by Pete Davison on the website, the publisher has recently revealed a few more details, as well as releasing a sneak peek trailer for the upcoming ‘Escalation’ map pack.

As most of you will already know, the map pack will contain a total of five new maps, including a new ‘zombie experience.’ The other four multiplayer maps include Hotel, Convoy, Zoo and Stockpile, which is set in a remote Russian farming town that houses secret weapons production facilities.

The Hotel map will see gamers playing on the roof of a Cuban hotel and casino in Havana, while the Convoy map — which features close-quarters combat – takes place at the scene of an ambush. The Zoo map sees gamers fighting it out in a long-abandoned Russian zoo.

Unfortunately Activision chose to stay quiet about the ‘Call of the Dead’ zombie map at this stage, but promised fans that more details will arrive soon. The ‘Escalation’ map pack is out on May 3rd for the Xbox 360. You can view the trailer below this post. What new map are you looking forward to playing the most?

there will never be another game like call of duty. therefore i say that everyone should enjoy the maps, and stop complaining

I love all the maps…and this DLC looks even better.
I got my Black ops for £25 on the day it came out and its been worth every penny.
For the price of the new maps and the amount of time I will play on it, its worth getting.

I could care less about a map pack for crap ops. the games framerate is still horrible for the PS3. Enjoy the 60 bucks you got from me failarch…you won't EVER receive another penny from me as a gamer!!
