Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has to feature zombies again and while the COD Ghosts aliens found in the extinction mode are fun, they still feel like a zombies copy and there’s nothing like the original. This is the message a number of fans are sharing in forums online and we also can understand after playing both modes for many hours.
With Black Ops 3 seemly confirmed by Frank Woods, we now wait to see more clues lead to a better zombie mode in Black Ops 3 with PS4 and Xbox One perks to push the mode even further.
If you missed the Frank Woods tease, then you can see this in the video below our article that has since been censored a little with music covering the part where he mentioned Black Ops 3 by accident. Take a look at the video and let us know if you heard the mention of BO3 before it got censored.
Those of Product Reviews readers that didn’t pick up a copy of COD: Ghosts, or haven’t seen the extinction mode, should look at 30 minutes of gameplay in our earlier article. This will give you a good look at the new alien mode in the current Call of Duty game, so you’ll clearly see the differences between zombies and extinction.
Personally, we found the COD: Ghosts extinction mode a lot more fun than expected and have enjoyed playing it for over 100 hours. The problem lies in the fact that we latched onto Black Ops Zombies since it first launched in the original game, so nothing seems to compare. We really want Black Ops 3 zombies over aliens or any other survival mode with next-gen console power taken advantage of in terms of graphics and gameplay.
Hearing Activision confirm a new Call of Duty game in 2014 during their November earnings call was nothing new considering one comes each year, but the finer details like if it will definitely be Black Ops 3 with zombies is one of the most crucial details.
Do you think it’s time that Call of Duty games lose the zombies mode completely, or would you like Black Ops 3 in 2014 with a zombies mode?
