Clash of Clans release notes for Lava Hound update

The Clash of Clans Lava Hound update release notes are now live and can be seen in full below on this page. The changes were made available on September 16th, 2014 and detail new upgrades, balancing changes, wall improvements, and further details on the new Dark Elixir Unit called Lava Hound.

You can unlock the Lava Hound after downloading today’s Clash of Clans update, but you will need to reach Town Hall level 9 and Dark Elixir barracks level 6. There’s many cool features with the Lava Hound unit, which include the fact it will erupt upon death with many offspring that attack any buildings nearby.

Gameplay has already been featured a couple of times on Product Reviews for the new Clash of Clans update for September 2014. You can see some here if you missed it, although we’d love to hear your thoughts on the changes seen with the above release notes for the Clash of Clans Lava Hound update?

The upgrades might be welcomed and Lava Hound will change the way some of you play, but what about the balancing changes? Are you happy to see Hero regeneration time reduced on all levels, reduced training time for Valkyrie, and the fact Healers are now trained to avoid distraction? I’m not a fan of the lava hound, it has great hit points but just not worth the price or housing space
