Chevrolet Corvette (C7) Stingray price depreciation

Several months ago we had learned that only selected dealers were to get the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette (C7) Stingray, and so knowing these vehicle were going to be in short supply those dealers would add a mark up. We now have confirmation of this because one dealership in California quoted a customer $10,000 more than the MSRP set up by GM.

We never thought they would charge that amount over the top, but we are even hearing that some dealers could increase the Corvette (C7) Stingray price by $20,000, which we think is not the dealers’ fault but the people who pay over the top for them.

There will be some people who will not pay that much over the top for a C7, and it is those we feel sorry for, but those of you who will pay between $10,000 – $20,000 on top of the MSRP then shame on you.

However, those who wait for this high demand to settle down will have the last laugh because they know they will purchase a car for the correct amount and if they sell it in a short period of time they know they can get their money back.

If you paid over the odds then there will be a Corvette (C7) Stingray price depreciation, as it would not be worth nothing like the sum you paid for it.

How much over the top would you be willing to pay for the C7?
