Well, you can finally order your Chevrolet Camaro in the UK, and the delivery date for this muscle car will be from October onwards. However, if you were hoping for news on the Camaro ZL1 UK release date, then we are afraid we have some bad news, as it will not be coming to Britain at all.
Now that the order books are open you can now see what Chevrolet Camaro UK options and packages are available. However, the most important thing is the starting price, as the base 2.0-litre coupé model will set you back £31,755 – although it’s very easy to get carried away with the optimal extras.
What are those options? The first is the option of an 8-speed automatic transmission, second is a set of stripes that will either cost you £400 or £550. Next there is a convenience and lighting package at £1890 and magnetic ride suspension for the V8 Camaro costing £1460.
There are also several other options to choose from such as a choice of wheels, which can be found when on the Chevrolet UK website, and by going through the Camaro configurator.
However, there is just one small issue, and that is the fact that just one UK dealer will be distributing the new Camaro, and so we very much doubt that sales will be huge in number.
