Cheapest DVDs and Blu Ray Media: DVD Ferret 1.2 on iPhone

A great way for iPhone or iPod Touch users to find the cheapest Blu rays and DVDs has arrived with the launch of a free app Ferret 1.2.

Launched by independent UK developer – Paul Gee – DVD Ferret searches the internet for the cheapest prices from leading retailers such as, Play, Asda, Tesco, HMV and many more. Searches can be done by category, title, director, actor, and format. All common formats are covered including Blu Ray through to UMD. A list of retailer’s prices is displayed so users can save money and get the latest releases.

The app stores searches so users can regularly check for price drops. Each DVD listing comes with a review, publisher, actors and directors. With the in built browser, users can share deals on Facebook or email, and purchase. DVD Ferret 1.2 is free on the App Store. iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad required with OS 3.0 or later.
