We recently informed you about the possibility of the ‘Palm Pre Plus’ becoming a reality at CES 2010, but Palm has now confirmed its existance, with the ‘Palm Pixi Plus’ coming as well this year.
As reported from BGR, both devices will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless at the moment, and will be available to customers from January 25th.
So what’s new in both versions? We are hearing that more memory has been added to both, there are refined design changes, and the Pixi will now receive WiFi support and the Palm Pre gets full video recording and editing support.
There are also some SDK additions to the Palm Pre, while a new flash plug-in is on the way to the App Catalog soon.
Pricing details have not been released yet, we’ll let you know when they are. Let us know your thoughts on the new versions.
