CES 2010: More Samsung R-Series laptops on the way

Fresh from CES 2010, Samsung has just announced more additions to their popular R-Series of laptops. As many as five new models were announced, all of which will be available throughout this month.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the new models are the R780, R580, R730, R530 and R430 respectively. The laptops will come in 14-17.3 inch varieties, with all containing HD LED displays and Samsung’s well known ‘touch of color’ finish.

Specs depend on which model you are after, but Samsung state that the R780 and R580 are the high-end models of the bunch, with both offering Intel Core i5-520M processors, Blu-Ray drive, Nvidia graphics and a whopping 500gb HDD.

No word on price yet, but considering that they are due out this month sometime, we expect pricing to be released soon. Let us know if you plan to pick up an R-Series model.
