Car games for kids with Android and iOS apps

Thanks to the age of the smartphone and tablet devices, car journeys have become a lot easier if you have children in the car. I can remember when I was a child and my father used to drive us to various destinations to camp out, the journeys in the rear of the car with my brother were long and boring, and so we would often be naughty and get told off.

However, things have become a lot easier for parents in the car, although a lot more expensive because kids demand the latest technology, but it is a small price to pay for peace. There are a number of car games for kids on Android and iOS devices, and not just car driving games, as there are other fun games to keep young children occupied.

The first iOS app is a strange one in the sense that its name is a bit on the long side, but we can tell you that this will keep kids busy while they try to match the sounds to cars, along with easy racing games. This app is great in the way that it helps with child recognition skills. This app will cost you $0.99.

Next up we have the 123 Kids Fun Games free app, which is a collection of twelve educational games for children aged 3 to 7, who are the hardest to keep occupied in the rear of a car. Kids get to learn numbers, shapes, sounds, the alphabet, animals and so much more.

123 Kids Fun GAMES Free

The final iOS car game for kids is Family Car Games, which costs $1.99. There are around 100 creative, fun games for all the family to play while in the car and requires a minimum of two people to play. We do hope that there is a new update for this game, as it is a little old, although still fun.

As for Android car games for kids, this is more of a minefield because a lot of results that come up are racing car games, which isn’t really what we had in mind. It is for this reason why we have run two searches for you, one for car games and the other for general kids games, such as those that involve puzzles.

We hope these apps will keep your children happy while traveling in the car.
