Capcom announce Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD PC release

Fans of Resident Evil 4 will be delighted to hear that an Ultimate HD edition of the game will released on PC. The news was announced earlier by Capcom with a launch date of February the 28th being confirmed as the day that zombie killing carnage will commence.

The upcoming game will come packed with enhanced high definition graphics and run at 60 frames per second. The rebooted Resident Evil title will feature on Steam for a price revealed to be $19.99. You can now Pre-order your game on Steam, with those who being rewarded with a free digital soundtrack and artbook.

The ultimate HD edition includes Steam Cloud save support, Steam Achievements, Steam Trading Cards, leaderboards, and full controller support. You can see fantastic screenshots from the upcoming game over on CVG.

A regular HD version of Resident Evil 4 was made available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in September 2011. There has previously been rumors that a new Resident Evil 7 title has been in the works since 2012, although there has been no solid announcements recently about plans for a next gen launch yet. There is certainly a fan base that would like to see Resident Evil on the PS4 and Xbox One.
