Jessops know that when a new camera model is released, consumers often feel the urge to offload their old ones by trading it in so the money they receive goes towards that new model. This is one of the reasons why they are now offering two trade-in options for those buying the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV price in the UK is £3599, which as you would expect is not fully-focused on the consumer, and more so professionals. The good news is that you can reduce the amount you pay if you trade-in either your EOS 5D Mark II or III. The current deals being offered by Jessops are: £690 trade-in value and a further £200 bonus if you hand over your MkII body and £200 bonus, meaning you will pay a total of £2709 for the MkIV – as long as your camera is in first-class condition.
As for the MkIII, you could get up to £1280 for the busy and a further £200 as a bonus, meaning the price of the Mark 4 could be reduced to £2119. These are two very good deals. Now, you could choose to sell your old camera on the likes of eBay to try and get more, but looking at the prices being asked, it does not look like you will get much more, maybe a couple of hundred pounds, or a little more and that’s it. Not only that, but you will then have to pay fees, and also run the hope of not actually selling it.
That’s not the only incentive being offered by the UK camera specialist, as for those of you that pre-order this latest DSLR from Canon can enter a free prize draw, where a lucky winner will win a Wild Brown Bears Photography Holiday and Tickets to London Fashion Week 2016.
If you are still undecided as to whether the EOS 5D Mark IV is for you or not, then maybe the video we have embedded for you below will help? It’s not a full, hands-on review because we are still waiting for those to come in.
