July 1 is Canada day, and if you are stuck with ideas and activities that you can do today, check out the list we have provided that include fun and easy crafts and coloring pages for kids that honor the great country of Canada.
Canada day, which was formally known as Dominion Day is the national day of Canada. It also marks a federal statutory holiday that celebrates this day, 143 years ago, when two British colonies united with a province of the British Empire to form the country you now live in — Canada. More information can be found via Wikipedia.
If you want to mark this day with activities, then you can check out the crafts page at Kaboose, where they list lots and lots of available crafts with all mostly containing the patriotic Canadian maple leaf symbol.
They also have a handy page dedicated to coloring pages to keep everyone entertained. All you need is a printer, some pencils, and crayons.
If that is not enough, also included are some puzzles and even some great barbecue recipes to celebrate.
