Can Kurt Angle appear in WWE 13, while under TNA?

Kurt Angle may not be part of WWE programming any more, but it looks like fans are in for a real treat as far as WWE 13 is concerned. The wrestling star sent out a recent Tweet, seemingly confirming his appearance in the upcoming game from THQ.

Considering that Kurt Angle hasn’t been seen in the WWE since 2006 and the fact that he now competes for rival company TNA, this would obviously be a major shock if it turned out that Kurt Angle is going to make an appearance in the game.

Thanks to his active personality on his Twitter account, Angle has stated numerous times that he still likes the WWE and would be open to a return, so perhaps this is the perfect way for him to start working with the WWE again and rebuild that relationship. If you keep up with his daily messages, you may have noticed the following information he posted that should be of great interest to all wrestling fans:

Sensing that he may have made a bit of a gaff with his revealing Tweets, he later went on to play down his initial comments by saying that he isn’t sure if he’ll be in WWE 13 and that TNA also has a new game coming out soon. That sounds to us like he was forced to put out that statement, as it is a pretty big deal if a star as big as Kurt Angle essentially shows up in a WWE product whilst still being contracted to TNA.

His second Tweet also tell us that he will be part of the Attitude Era roster as well, and we think that is great news. Who can forget his funny feuds with Brock Lesnar and The Rock back when WWE was good? Hopefully we’ll get a trailer for him soon confirming his appearance just like Mike Tyson. Let us know if this has taken you by surprise, seeing as he is still with TNA.
