Call of Duty: Ghosts patch released to cure god mode hacks

For those of you who have been playing Call of Duty: Ghosts and have been suffering at the hands of hackers, we have great news. We are pleased to inform you that a patch has been released which will now prevent cheats from making themselves invisible and entering god mode. The patch should cure these issues and fixes the problems without the need for an update.

The hot fix was announced on the Call of Duty forum and has been applied to all platforms. The update will also cure a number of stability and performance issues as well as numerous bugs that occur during elements of game-play.

Whilst it can be frustrating to play against people that exploit the game, it is good to see Infinity Ward rolling out fixes on a regular basis to try and re-balance the playing field. Yesterday we looked at the SA-805 weapon which you may be interested in looking at to potentially improve you score on Ghosts.

We would be interested to hear if you are still having problems in the online multiplayer, let us know in the comments section if you are still getting grief from hackers.
