Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer 1080p update on PS4

Have you decided to pick up Call of Duty Ghosts as one of your main PS4 launch title purchases? If so, you are probably wondering what the final resolution for the game will be, with Activision or Infinity Ward yet to confirm whether the PS4 version will run at 1080p native resolution at 60FPS in multiplayer.

It’s the question that all tech-minded gamers want to know and it’s a similar case for the PS4 version of Battlefield 4 as well – why are DICE and Infinity Ward keeping this such a secret from the public anyway?

Back to the point though, and it looks like we may have some promising news for you. The big rumor is that Call of Duty Ghosts is indeed going to run at 1080p and 60FPS on the PlayStation 4. A soon to be launched gameplay trailer will apparently confirm this as fact, but there’s a new piece of evidence which fits into the puzzle nicely.

Visit this page and you’ll see on Sony’s SEN listing that 1080p native is mentioned as the resolution for the game. Having said that, there still appears to be some confusion on the matter – just look at what Sony’s Twitter man Shuhei Yoshida had to say on the subject below.

Either Yoshida knows and he’s just being coy, or Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer on PS4 won’t be able to manage 1080p. Perhaps we’ll just end up with 1080p on the single-player mode, but we all know what everyone would rather prefer.

Are you keeping a close eye on this development? Let us know how you would feel if Call of Duty Ghosts won’t support the desired resolution in multiplayer mode – would you accept 1080p upscaled or not?
