Call of Duty Ghosts Co-op mode wishes

If you are currently addicted to Black Ops 2 zombies still, but are already looking forward to what Infinity Ward are planning to do with Call of Duty Ghosts with regards to co-op, we have some good news for you. Infinity Ward has recently confirmed that there will be some sort of co-op mode for Ghosts, but have not yet confirmed if it will play similar to Spec Ops from Modern Warfare 3, or feature something entirely new.

In recent years we have seen Infinity Ward try to emulate the success of Treyarch’s popular zombie mode, but ultimately fail in a lot of people’s minds. Spec Ops was great fun in Modern Warfare 3, but it’s no secret that it didn’t reach the heights that Infinity Ward would have hoped or even come close to keeping Call of Duty fans off zombie mode.

With this in mind, it’s no surprise to hear that Infinity Ward are once again planning to try their luck with a new co-op effort within Call of Duty Ghosts. The Community Manager for Infinity Ward has confirmed on Twitter that a co-op mode of some sort will definitely be available, but at the moment they do not plan to announce it any time soon.

The big question that we want to know, is whether Infinity Ward will have the guts to try a completely new formula, or just introduce an updated Spec Ops mode. Could Riley the dog possibly play a part in the game’s co-op mode? With a release coming up on November 5, let’s hope that Infinity Ward at least give us an indication of what we can expect to see.

Whatever does happen, let’s pray that Infinity Ward can at least include support for four players. This has to be a certainty on the next-gen versions of Call of Duty Ghosts surely, otherwise that would be a bit ridiculous if it is only two players. If you enjoyed playing Spec Ops on Modern Warfare 3, let us know your wishes for Infinity Ward’s new co-op plans for Ghosts.
