Call of Duty: Black Ops: Victor Charlie Level Details

Treyarch are unsurprising keeping things quiet when it comes to Black Ops, however a writer for Kokatu recently managed to speak to Black Ops’ community manager, where he also got to see some of the game’s campaign.

Only one level was shown, this level is called Victor Charlie and is set in the late 1960s in Vietnam, apparently you are in a chopper which gets shot down, you then have to battle in the jungle, where the visuals are said to be great.

During this gunfight a new feature was showcased, apparently when you shoot some enemies (I’m guessing either important enemies or perhaps one shot kills) the camera follows the bullet in slow motion, which sound like a effect we first saw in the original Max Payne video game (correct me if I’m wrong).

The Victor Charlie level then progresses into an area with plenty of thatched-roof buildings, in the game itself you are apparently a team player rather than the leader, also it looks as if the compass has changed, which gives the impression of a much better free-roaming experience.

Personally I like the sound of not just tracking down yellow stars on a map to reach checkpoints, it may just be the change which a lot of CoD gamers wanted.
