Other reasons to expect something special is due to a new game engine featuring within COD Advanced Warfare, and long-term fans of this franchise know they have stuck with the same engine in the past for too long.

Polygon give Advanced Warfare a 9/10, Metro 8/10, GameInformer 9/10, Eurogamer 8/10, Gamespot 8/10, Videogamer 8/10, and Joystiq 4/5. At the time of writing IGN are yet to offer up their review, although we expect it to release shortly.
