Burnout Crash: Australian Classification Board Reveals New Game

Fans of the Burnout video game franchise may not have seen a new title released since Burnout Paradise was launched back in 2008, but it does now look like a new game is in development. Although we don’t know any details at this stage, we do know that the next installment will be called Burnout Crash.

According to a recent article by Ryan Langley over at, the new Burnout Crash game was revealed in a recent Australian Classification Board rating. After a little more investigation via a Linkedin profile search, it was discovered that the upcoming game would be for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

As Ryan notes, the lack of announcements prior to the game’s recent rating previously meant that Burnout Crash was a downloadable game. The title also suggests that the new game could well be based on the Crash Mode from both the Burnout 3 and Revenge games. This was a sorely missed feature in Burnout Paradise.

Unfortunately that’s the only details we have at this stage, but we’re pretty sure that more details will surface before long. The Burnout Crash game will be the eighth installment in the Burnout series. Are you looking forward to hearing more about this upcoming racing game?
