BT Broadband suffers Internet DNS outage on Oct 26

We have an important heads-up for BT Broadband customers, as we can confirm that the company are having issues today with internet services not working fully and sporadic BT Broadband outages occurring today across the UK, October 26.

We were first alert to this with spikes on the BT Broadband status checker here, with many users suddenly finding themselves without a connection.

BT has not issued a statement on the matter, nor have their acknowledged the issue on the BTCare Twitter page where outages across the UK are usually reported there first.

We’ve also got this BT Broadband error on their official status checker, which doesn’t allow consumers to see live problems in a particular area.

Can you confirm BT Broadband is down for you with your internet connection coming on and off? It looks like it could be DNS related once again, but we’ll provide updates here for you when we have more details to share.
