British Election Results 2010: Facebook UK Reminder Update

If you are a regular user of Facebook in the UK, you have probably noticed the reminders from the Facebook team, giving you the option to post information on your profile, that you have already voted for the UK Election which is currently taking place.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, Facebook users over 18 will be getting a message when they log in, reminding everyone that today is polling day in the UK. You’ll be able to see how many Facebook users have voted so far thanks to a ticker counter on the website.

If you choose to reveal that you’ve voted, a message will be posted on your profile page saying that you have now voted – which also reminds your friends and family if they haven’t voted yet.

Of course, the message will not ask you to reveal who you voted for, but you can always share it in a status update if you feel the need to do so.

Have you noticed this on Facebook?
