You may have previously heard of Brammo when they released the Enertia electric motorcycle, well things have moved on dramatically since then which is evident with their new electric motorcycle the Brammo Empulse.
Up until now electric motorcycles have been regarded as somewhat slow with a low range, however the Empulse is capable of a top speed of around 100mph, also you should have a range of roughly 100 miles from one charge.
For an electric motorcycle the Empulse doesn’t look too bad, you can see a gallery of images here, and we have embedded one of the photos at the end of this post, do you like the look of the Empulse?
There are three models available, the 6.0, 8.0 and 10.0, the 6.0 has a 60 mile range and will set you back $9,995, the 8.0 has an 80 mile range and will set you back $11,995 and the 10.0 is the best model with the 100 mile range, this will set you back $13,995.
There is also some good and bad news regarding the Empulse, we will start with the good news. If you live in the U.S. you should be eligible for federal and state tax rebates which should save buyers at least 10 percent. The bad news is that it won’t start shipping until next summer.
