Borderlands 2 PS Vita price, DLC revealed

We have some fantastic news for those of you who are thinking of getting a new PS Vita in 2014. The missing Borderlands 2 game had slipped under the radar somewhat throughout last year, but we’re pleased to see that Sony has now confirmed that Borderlands 2 will be available as part of a new Borderlands 2 PS Vita Slim bundle.

It’s no secret that Borderlands 2 was a firm fan favorite on console and it’s great to finally see that the game is ready for release on PS Vita.

Sony has revealed that the game will be launching this Spring along with the PS Vita slim US release date, and that the official Borderlands 2 PS Vita bundle price will be a pleasing $199.

That price will include a downloadable copy of Borderlands 2, a black PS-Vita Slim console, an 8GB memory card and access to six Borderlands 2 DLC packs.

Although not revealed initially, we can now tell you that the six DLC packs which will come with the bundle are Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho and Mechromancer character classes, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector’s Edition Pack.

It goes without saying that this looks like a fantastic deal on offer. Don’t forget that the lighter slim PS Vita does come with an LCD-based display though, rather than the higher quality OLED screen on the original. A screen comparison can be seen here, for those that want to see the differences.
