Book an Instant Ride: LimoRes Car & Taxi Service for iPhone

An iPhone app that allows users to book limousines, SUV’s, sedans, and vans in more than 5000 different airports and cities across the world has just been updated. LimoRes Car &Taxi Service 1.2 is a free app, and as a reward to their customers the company is offering users 50% off the first ride they book after downloading the new version.

First released at the end of 2009 by LimoRes Inc, the app has had many improvements including real-time GPS information, smoother interface and an improved one click reservation system.

CEO of LimoRes Alex Mashinsky said “We were very excited by the response we received to the first version of our iPhone application. To reward our customers we’ve decided to offer everyone 50% off the first ride they book through the newest version of the application.”

Some of the features of the app include, Real-time GPS tracking of vehicles allows customers to see vehicles closest to their current location (currently only available in New York City), Preference panel which allows touch base selection of recurring trips. Current users can take advantage of the 50% discount by deleting the app and reinstalling it.

LimoRes is available free on the App Store for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with OS 3.0 or later.
