B&O Beoplay A9 Black Edition, same setup and price

The BeoPlay A9 wireless speaker by Bang & Olufsen has been on the market for a little while now, but as you might know lacked one very special color choice, which was black. We are happy to inform you that the B&O Beoplay A9 Black Edition is now available, and while it may be different in color, its whole setup and price is the same.

That’s right, this means that you still get to make full use of the Spotify Connection integration, as well as AirPlay for iOS users. Having both forms of connectivity helps to make the Beoplay A9 wireless speaker a more complete setup.

As you might imagine, the new Black Edition offers a black finish to the rear, as well as it speaker ring coming with a black anodized aluminum finish. To help complete the new, darker color are legs finished in a dark walnut. We have to say, this makes the new color option look even more high-end than the white model.

If you do not have the space or do not like the thought of your new Beoplay A9 speaker on the floor, then the legs can still be removed on the Black Edition so that you can mount it directly onto a wall.

What we also like about the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A9 Black Edition is how you can customize it with different color options, such as changing the front cover and legs.

More details on these customizable options can be found by visiting, although we can tell you that its price remains at £1699.
