BlackBerry PlayBook vs. LG Optimus Pad, and Release Update

At the beginning of March you might remember us telling you about a pre-order price for the LG G-Slate also known as Optimus Pad, we now have a little update as to a release date and also how it compares to others on the market. We’re now looking at adding the Blackberry Playbook into the mix, which has been thought through by Know Your Mobile.

With the BlackBerry PlayBook and LG Optimus Pad you will find a competitive tablet match, as a 3D 8.9-inch LCD starts of the charge for the Optimus Pad on screen display alone, although the BlackBerry device holds its own when it comes to security, safety, and both being very powerful software operatives. Although as far as camera features are concerned, the Optimus is at the top.

They share strength in build design. On the one hand the PlayBook is a more compact version, and on the other the Optimus has continued to advance its computer technology more so.

A release date of March 31st has been set by Japan’s NTT DOCOMO, for a full update on the LG Optimus Pad release visit here, or read the comparison on knowyourmobile.com. What’s your view on the BlackBerry PlayBook vs. LG Optimus Pad?

really puts the iPad 2 into perspective. These tablets make it look SO dated.

Buck, the LG Optimus actually has a stereoscopic rear camera, as well as LED flash. As far as I’m concerned that puts the two roughly on par, but since we’re comparing apples and oranges it’s obviously a subjective decision which is “better”. Heck, they’re both great compared to the iPad 2!
