BlackBerry Bold 9900 release date postponed until September

This year has seen the release of some high quality smartphones all trying to compete with the supremacy of Apples iPhone 4. The Samsung Galaxy S II is one phone that has provided the best competition for the Apple device so far, taking its top spot in the sales.

We also recently brought you news about the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and how it measures up against the Nokia E6. With the stakes in this market so high now the last thing a manufacturer would want is for there to be something simple like a delay in release to affect their sales.

That’s exactly what news we have for you today as according to the article at BGR, RIM’s release of their Blackberry Bold 9900 may have to wait until September. Although there is no word of what the cause for the delay is, it is though that the company intends on releasing a new OS so may be holding out until the 9900 gets it.
