BlackBerry Bold 9900 / 9930 aka Bold Touch: Specs and Photos

Research in Motion has today unveiled the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the BlackBerry Bold 9930, as the names suggest they are identical in terms of specs, but the 9900 is the GSM model and the 9930 is the CDMA model.

A recent post on Engadget told us all about the specs, whilst photos from the official BlackBerry website show that the form-factor is not much different to the BlackBerry Bold 9700.

The specs are a huge jump when compared to the Bold 9700, you get a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory, a 5 megapixel camera capable of recording HD video (720p), dual-band WiFi b/g/n and a 2.8-inch touchscreen display which features a resolution of 640 x 480 and a 287dpi pixel density.

Less interesting specs include NFC (Near Field Communication), a built-in compass, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer and support for microSD memory cards of up to 32GB. RIM also say that there is a high-performance GPU, however details regarding this are scarce.
