BlackBerry Bold 9700: OS Leaked (Unofficial)

We have recently heard that a new OS version for the Blackberry Bold 9700 has recently leaked, this unofficial OS version brings the handset to OS

As the OS is an unofficial version there is currently no changelog, however the person who first leaked the OS version claims it is real and says he is “a lurker with good friends in great places”.

If you want to read more about this OS version check out the CrackBerry forums, currently the thread is 11 pages long and some people are complaining about the handset now not holding 3G as well as before.

As with any update we recommend backing up your data and ensuring that you have sufficient battery life beforehand, however we would suggest waiting for the official OS release just in case.

If you understand the risks associated with updating your handset’s OS you can download OS here.
