Yesterday we reported that RIM is to launch two new handsets, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and Pearl 3G. We know that the former will be released next month on the Sprint network, but unsure as to the date for the latter. We do know one thing; the main rivals for these two handsets are the iPhone and Android.
The BlackBerry Bold 9650 will offer a 3.2-megapixel camera, 512MB of flash storage and 2GB microSD card. Two points here, we never expect a great camera from RIM and that handset can support up to 32GB of flash storage. (More details here)
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G will come with a QWERTY keyboard and the now famous optical trackpad, but it is the strange SureType style keyboard that has been gaining some attention. Our recent post will offer you more details on this and other features.
We know that the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will cost $199.99 after a mail-in-rebate on the Sprint network, but we are unsure of the details for the BlackBerry Pearl 3G.
