Lately there has been a lot of speculation surrounding a new BlackBerry smartphone, many believe that this will be called the BlackBerry 9800 slider and will be available from AT&T.
Recently a RIM device was checked out by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), many believe this is the rumored 9800 slider especially as the FCC documents mentions “MultiSourceDeclaration_9800_”.
In the FCC documents it confirms that this device will connect to GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900, UMTS II (1900), V (850) networks along with GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800 MHz and UMTS I (2100) bands, also it confirms that it will feature Bluetooth and WiFi b/g/n connectivity.
At 11.00 AM ET AT&T are kicking of an event, therefore all of the news suggests that the BlackBerry 9800 slider will be revealed, when we hear more we will keep you posted.
