Black Ops 2 Zombies teaser, Mob of the Dead date

We have some good news for Black Ops 2 fans now, as it looks like we now have a final release date for the next DLC pack to release after Revolution. Uprising is coming to the game soon and will add another four multiplayer maps to the game, as well as an exciting new entry in the hugely popular zombie spin-off as well.

As we told you in our initial report on Uprising, the new zombie map is going to be called Mob of the Dead. It was only a rumor last week, but now an official poster has leaked out via several retailers in the US, confirming Mob of the Dead as the next zombie map, along with a release date on Xbox 360 of April 16.

We also told you that Studio and Vertigo were two of the map names coming as part of the multiplayer content. Now we have the names of the other new maps as well, thought to be Magma and Encore – meaning that there will be four maps after all, not two as initially suggested.

At the moment, there isn’t any confirmation that Uprising will include another DLC weapon like that Peacemaker SMG, but we believe Treyarch will add another one given the position reception to the Peacemaker. It’s also worth pointing out that Vertigo is apparently a remake of a map that was made for Modern Warfare 2, but cancelled at the last minute as well – so that will be good news for those of you that are familiar with the map.

All of the attention will be on Mob of the Dead we expect though, so hopefully Treyarch will be providing some gameplay teasers soon. After playing and completing the Die Rise Easter Egg to death, do you have any initial suggestions for potential storylines on Mob of the Dead?

Will we see a team of celebrities again as what we saw with Call of the Dead on Black Ops? It would be awesome if it happened and we have already heard some amusing suggestions from who you would like to see in our last report. Check out the poster image above courtesy of MadAssGamers and let us know what you think about it.
