Black Ops 2 Origins Yellow Disc locations with secret

Now that the big secret is out regarding the Black Ops 2 Origins zombie ending, we now switch matters to other hidden secrets in the game. Upon exploring Origins during your first playthrough with friends, you may have spotted that there are actually yellow discs that Treyarch has planted throughout the map.

We’re here to tell you that collecting them serves as a purpose and finding all four on Origins will actually reward you with a very nice prize at the end. To actually retrieve the yellow discs though, you’ll actually need to have a working Maxis drone in your possession, as the drone will automatically hover over the discs and pick them up once you are situated in the correct spot.

The video above comes courtesy of those guys over at NGTZombies, as they have already found all four discs, showing the locations for each one. Once you have collected them, you should head straight over to the pack-a-punch machine to pick up your prize.

This will be an upgraded MG08 gun, otherwise known as the Magna Collider. From feedback we’ve seen so far, many players on Origins are already calling this gun the best weapon in the game so it is well worth completing this little side-quest for it.

It’s always nice getting a free pack-a-punched weapon without the hassle, and it will definitely help you out towards the later levels when things start to get very tricky indeed. Let us know if you have already found this little gem and any other hidden secrets that you have discovered as well.
