Black Ops 2 Easter Egg, Buried Mined Games secret

It has been a week since Black Ops 2 Buried zombies released on Xbox Live and unsurprisingly, it looks like a lot of you have already managed to solve the main easter egg quest in the game. It results in players unlocking the Mined Games achievement and we have a video guide for you to watch now if you are having trouble completing some of the steps.

Like previous Black Ops zombie easter egg quests on older maps, players will have the choice of either completing Richtofen’s easter egg on Buried, or Maxis easter egg quests instead. It looks like Richtofen’s is the more difficult, but it is also the quest that offers the best rewards at the end should you complete it.

Just like Mob of the Dead, there are a significant amount of steps to complete, so make sure you equip yourself with a patient team and ensure that everyone has adequate communication abilities set up via headset. This guide that we have to show you comes courtesy of NextGenZombies once again, as they appear to be one of the first groups to crack both sides of the easter egg, and offer a speed tutorial in the process as well.

Once you finally get to the end of Richtofen’s easter egg, you will be rewarded with some great items at last unlike Mob of the Dead, such as a special Mule Kick + perk which will allow you to equip four weapons. On top of that, you will be granted a permanent Fire Sale perk, which will keep the box in a set location and will discount all of your weapons from the box to just 10 points.

One word of warning though, it looks like the rewards are one time only – so be sure to enjoy them before you quit the game ready to start another run. Check out Richtofen’s quest above, while we have also added Maxis’ below for you. If you are currently trying to complete both easter eggs, let us know how you are getting on so far.

Have you discovered any other secrets in Buried zombies that we should know about?
