Black Ops 2 DLC skin for zombie lovers

We have some good news for regular Black Op 2 players now, as we can confirm that more of the popular Black Ops 2 personalization packs are coming to the Xbox 360 version of the game very soon. We hinted about some of these new weapon skins coming back in May, but now we have a solid release date for when you can expect to see them up for sale.

To remind you, each Black Ops 2 personalization pack will cost you 160 Microsoft Points, with the price contributing to a new unique weapon skin, a calling card and three custom aiming reticles to equip to your weapon. Activision has just confirmed that new packs will be available to download on July 23.

The highlight of the 6 packs to be offered is easily the Pack a Punch pack, which will upgrade all of your weapons with a lovely pack a punch skin similar to what you would see in the zombies mode. Look at a preview image here to get a good idea of how it will look on July 23.

You will also be able to see the three reticles, as well as the zombie themed calling card that will be coming with the Pack a Punch pack – not a bad selection at all. For fans of zombie mode and for just $2, this is probably an example where we would actually recommend this purchase – only this time though.

We’re generally not a fan of all these little add-on DLC packs, but it’s zombie-themed, it’s $2 and it seems a no brainer. You can head to Major Nelson’s website to see the 5 other packs that will land on July 23. Let us know if you will be buying one of these for 160 Points next week.
