Bitstrips app without Facebook account

Have you given in to the new Bitstrips app craze that is currently sweeping the social media boards yet? Bitstrips is a new app that is available for download on iOS and Android. Unfortunately though, the only way to log into the service is by using Facebook and we have had plenty of feedback from our users, asking when they can use the Bitstrips app without a Facebook account.

The good news, is that the developers are going to make this feature available – you just have to sit back and wait for it to happen. Each time you boot up the app you are reminded of this very fact: sign in with Facebook, but with a message that signing into Bitstrips without Facebook is coming soon.

So far, the app itself seems to be hit and miss with fans. We have seen plenty of love for the comic style features that it brings, but also some feedback from users who say that they are already getting tired of it overtaking their Facebook feeds.

Luckily, the developers have promised that more log in options will be coming soon for those that don’t want to be forced to use Facebook. A Tweet by the team confirms this below, as well as a statement saying that improved performance on the app is one of the areas that is being prioritized at the moment.

What are your overall thoughts on the app so far – would you like to login into Bitstrips without Facebook as a permanent feature?
