The Bitstrips app for iPhone has been causing some people to get really upset, especially if they have friends sharing Bitstrips photos on Facebook. At first it seems that the comic pictures were fun, but after seeing the cartoons take over their Facebook news feed it became too much for some people.
Over the past week we have seen the Bitstrips app not working on iPhone, iPad and Facebook but after the developers improved their server configuration everything got back to normal.
The demand took those behind the application by surprise and this is why there had been so many issues over the past 2 weeks.
Bitstrips Facebook photos bring joy and annoyance — some of the cartoons are really funny and show some people’s imagination, and these particular people love updating their status in a visual way like this.
It is a little depressing for some “The Bitstrips craze has truly started with the app on iPhone and Android, which now means my feed is full of these unfunny and stupid Bitstrips photos”, said one Facebook user. Another added, “I am so happy I found a way to block Bitstrips from my Facebook, I couldn’t stand to see another one appear”.
We should note a lot of people see the fun side of the Bitstrips apps and welcome it on Facebook, the iPhone, Android or anywhere else. “I think Bitstrips is amazing and I don’t see why some people have a problem, if you don’t like them then delete the post or block the person. Seeing my friends put their life on Facebook interested me, but now I get to see their life in a comic form and it is way more entertaining then before”, said one Facebook user that loves what Bitstrips allowed people to do.
Bitstrips photos – fun or havoc? Has this app been driving you nuts, or are you loving the app for iPhone and Android? If you love creating the comic strips, do you think these user created comics are more fun than most of the stuff being published on Facebook previously? Share a comment below with your thoughts on this new social craze.
