Back in February we told you that an official biography of Apple CEO Steve Jobs had been authorized. Today we can tell you that the Biography of Steve Jobs which is titled iSteve The Book of Jobs, has gone up for preorder via online retailer Amazon.
According to an article on AppleInsider by Josh Ong the biography has a release date of March 2012. After we first reported on the book, publishers Simon & Schuster confirmed in April that former Time executive Walter Isaacson was going to be working on it. The book is listed on Amazon for $18.00, 40% off the list price.
A Kindle version of the book is listed for $14.99 and a preorder price promise, and is set for March 6 2012. Apple also has the book listed for the same price on its iBooks store. Isaacson has conducted “three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews” with Jobs. He has also spoken to colleagues and competitors, as well as interviewing family members.
Steve Jobs has seen biographies about his life published before, but this will be the first to be approved by the Apple CEO. Will you be ordering iSteve?
