Big sales for Ford’s 6.2-liter Raptor

The wait is finally over for Ford’s New Raptor with the massive 6.2-liter V8 power plant. With 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of creamy torque, Ford have reported that the new engine has been flying off the shelves, with over 3,000 orders already received for the truck.

To match the 3,000 orders you will have to stump up an extra $3,000 to gain the 91 horsepower increase over its base 5.4-liter V8. However with this extra power the Raptor should be quicker on it’s feet, and when cubic capacity is all important, a little on the price tag will be a small price to pay.

Along with the new engine Ford have said that there will be additional options available including, halogen lamps, a tow kit and blue powder-coating for both cam covers and engine. So with styling like this and a huge lump under the bonnet what is there not to like? Check out the link to see some more pictures and give us your opinion.
