Best iOS gaming apps for May 2014

It is surprising just how quick the days go because we are already into the 6th day of yet another new month, and we thought we would look at some of the best iOS gaming apps on offer for May 2014. This small list is based on games that are new and are set to become very popular, or those that have already proved a huge hit, and have recently been updated.

The first app is called The Flapply Tortuga for all iOS devices and is based on the popular Flappy Bird game, although not too sure how popular this app is now seeing as though things seem to have gone rather quiet. Having said that, having a new games based on Flappy Bird might reignite its popularity.

Mutated Sea iOS app

Next up we thought you might like Mutated Sea, which is an arcade style game where a sea full of angry sharks and mutated fish are begging to be speared. You have to try to kill these sharks and fish while trying to feed the seagulls. This app costs $0.99 cents, but not sure how happy people will be feeding the seagulls, as we know what happens once they have been fed.

Spider-man app update

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been well received, although there were still one or two issues with the app, but thanks to a recent update these issues have now been resolved. Some users said when they got to 45 percent through the game it would often stall, but thankfully this bug has now been fixed. However, there still might be a 45 second delay at that point, but you just have to wait and the game will continue.

Minigore free app

Finally, we would like to mention Minigore. Okay, this was last updated in March, but what will make this such a popular gaming app for May 2014 is the fact that it has been made free for a limited time only. You had better be quick because it will not be free for long before it goes back to $0.99.

We hope you are happy with these four gaming apps, but if you have one that you will like to include in this list, then please do so below.
