Best Cyber Monday tablet at Walmart vs. Best Buy

The last few days might have been a busy time in retail locations like Best Buy, Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart but it is Cyber Monday that will be the busier day for online shopping and this kicks-off today with a look at Cyber Week deals and in 2013 that means tablets.

We have seen some popular and lesser known tablets hit a new low price over the last week and this included the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Nextbook and RCA 7-inch tablet, Nabi 2, Nexus 7, and even Apple cutting the iPad Air price slightly in their one-day sale.

Today, we wanted to take a quick look at what the Best Cyber Monday tablet deal might be at Best Buy and Walmart. Both retailers have launched a glimpse at their online discounts and these pages include a number of tablets at great prices.

On Best Buy you will find their so-called “Cyber Week Deals” page right here, which includes a number of tablets with pretty good discounts. Right at the top you will see the Microsoft Surface 32GB with a price of $199.99 (around $150 off), then on the same page you’ll see an Asus 15.6-inch Laptop with 4GB Memory and a 500GB Hard Drive for $299.99. Best Buy explain shoppers should check back often, as they will be adding “new deals frequently”.

Walmart explains “Cyber Week Starts Now” on this page and it provides a list of tablet deals not found on Thanksgiving. You can see a Wi-Fi 32GB iPad with Retina and Bonus 8-in-1 Accessory Kit from $449, the Nextbook 7-inch Tablet for $69, TRIO Stealth G2 10.1-inch Dual Core Tablet for $109, a RCA 7-inch Tablet with 4GB Memory for $59, the Double Power 7-inch Dual Core tablet for just under $80, a Proscan 7-inch Tablet with a bonus keyboard case for $69, a Google 32GB Nexus 7-inch tablet for $189, and finally the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch tablet for $159.

As you can tell from the above list of tablets, it seems that Walmart is featuring the biggest range of deals in 2013 although you should dig deeper into the Best Buy website and you will find other tablet discounts that are worth considering for a gift this holiday shopping season.
