Best Buy Beats Rivals in Mystery Shopper Survey

Best Buy has been known in the U.S. for some time now, but those in the UK have only just been able to experience this store. It is nice to see an American retailer open up a store and then score well in a mystery shopper survey, which beat UK rivals in the process.

The Best Buy Store in Lakeside Thurrock, UK opened towards the end of April 2010 and was seen as a breath of fresh air compared to its rivals. For those who have never shopped in Best Buy, we can tell you that you can get all of your electrical items under one roof, much like Currys or Comet, but on a larger scale.

The survey looked at a number of different aspects for when a shopper enters a retailer like this, such as a basic knowledge of the products that they are selling, and knowing that they will offer advice even if it has nothing to do with the purchase of one of their products.

Best Buy managed to score an amazing ten out of ten, where rivals Currys scored eight out of ten and PC World five out of then. Strange as they both form part of the DSGI. For the full mystery shopper review visit PCR.

Have you been to Best Buy, would you give then ten out of ten?
